HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 03-051-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington A RESOLUTION APPROVING A RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 051 -CC REASONABLE -USE EXCEPTION PERMIT REQUEST FROM ALVIN & CHERYL WALLACE. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County have been advised by the Grant County Planning Commission that an open record public hearing was conducted on April 2, 2003, at 7:00 pm on the matter of approving a reasonable -use exception permit request to allow residential development; and WHEREAS, the subject parcel #16-1744-004, is located at 6348 Road D.3 Northeast, Moses Lake, Washington, on a portion of government lot #3 located in a portion of Section 35; Township 20 North; Range 27 East; Willamette Meridian, and WHEREAS, the Grant County Planning Commission on April 2, 2003, made no recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners to approve or deny said reasonable -use exception permit request presented by staff with (6) six suggested conditions of approval and (8) eight findings of fact; and WHEREAS, the Grant County Board of Commissioners held a closed record public hearing on April 29, 2003, at 3:00 pm in the Commissioners Hearing Room of the Courthouse; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the public's use and interest will be served by the subject reasonable -use exception permit; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that appropriate provisions for drainage, roads, alleys, utilities, public ways, water supplies, sanitary wastes, parks, playgrounds, fire protection facilities, school sites and grounds and other public and private facilities and improvements have been made; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have concluded that the subject reasonable -use exception permit conforms to the general purpose of the Comprehensive Plan, the Grant County Unified Development Code; and, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners have found that the reasonable -use exception permit conforms to the criteria of approval identified in Section 23.04.170 of the Grant County Unified Development Code; and Alvin & Cheryl Wallace, RUE Page 1 of 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners for Grant County, Washington hereby approve the Alvin and Cheryl Wallace reasonable -use exception permit request permitting residential development on said parcel subject to the following (6) six conditions of approval and (8) eight findings of fact as recommended and presented by the Planning Department.
