Week of June 7,1999
fhe Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance.
The Commissioners read ana approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
l �(�� t• x The Commissioners approved out of State travel for Pa -a! Garrison o;
Grant Mental Healthcare to attend the Functional Family Therapy
Externship Training in Nevada.
1�1(,sG•yThe Commissioners approved the request by the Juvenile Probation
Department for the expenditure of $6.223 in tobacco/drug prevention funds
for the purchase of equipment.
The Commissioners signed approval of the salary increase of Tess
Grant, of District Court to Deputy Clerk iI, Level B, at $2,003 per month.
i ���t• The Commissioners approved out of state travel for Undersheriff
Mike Shay to attend a Domestic Terrorism class in Houston, Texas.
�rins� i The Commissioners were notified by District Court of a name change
for employee Mary K. Vannoy.
A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner
Moore, seconded by Commissioner Alliso.i that Resolution Number 99 -85 -
CC authorizing an appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current
Expense Fund 4001, Miscellaneous General Government Department 9125
in the amount of $100,000 be passed The nietion carried.

transfer of funds in the Cut: alative Reserve Fund 4105, Department 4147 in

Iqt,!, -(o A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner
Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution N,trnber 99 -87 -
CC, Ordinance Number 99 -87 -CC imposing an additional County -wide sales
and use tax to be credited against the State tax for purposes of financing
public facilities and other matters properly relating thereto be passed. Tile
motion carried.
1'('%1-11 A Public Hearing was held and a motion was made by Commissioner
Allison, seconded by Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 99 -88 -
CC relating to a supplemental extension in the 1999 budget of the Mental
Health Fund 4408, Department 4150 :n the amount of $175,764 be passed.
The motion carried.

Agreement with the Moses Lake Fire Department
As there was no further business to come before the Boaro the session
was continued until June 8,1999.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.ri. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
Bid Autborization-Builmng Demolition, F.A. Route Change -Baseline Road,
Six Year Program -Projects, Moses Pointe, Delano, and Personnel.
,y.'N-) 7-' The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on
removal of structures at 4305 Arnold St Bid opening to be held June
22,1999 at 10:30 a.m.
ry,r Chairman Snead was authorized to sign the letter to the State
Department of Transportation requesting a change of the federal Functional
class for Goodrich Road.
As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vouchers included in the list fil-a m the Auditors Office 6/7/99 in the
total amount of S1,130,442 07.

Management Act Substantial Development Permit Requirements for the
Washington State Department of Fislt and WilC+life.
X7.1 Chairman Snead was authorized to sign the contract between
Washington State Military Department and Grant County Emergency
Management.

Hearing for June 22,1999 at 1:00 p.zr.. slating to the facts requiring an
appropriation and expenditure of funds in ]he Repairs and Demoh,ion Fund
9118, Department 4160 in the amolmt of 530,000 'oe passed. "_ e motion

Commissioner Allison that Resolution. Number 99 -93 -CC, Ordinance
Number 99 -93 -CC reoealing Ordinance Numbers 1!0799, 81 -106 -CC, 82-
113 -CC, 94 -86 -CC, and enacting a new section to the Grant County Code by
reenacting regulation for boating and recreational water activities, pr-,viding
for the safety of boats, s-vimme-s, ar:d onccrs using the waters ,of 0rrant
County, and providing Certain regu4:1i.yns arra restrictiors ca tLe �tse of such
waters, and other matters properly rc',-_ting thereto be -passed. T1fe motiou
carried.
The Commissioners signed a'_tionce of Public rearing on the request
for supplemental budget for Grams Acmiri;stratio,, Fund #190, Deparo-ner+t
9001 from unanticipated state/federal finds is the amount ct SiO3,529.
