Week of November 13, 2000
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman Deborah Moore. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
g.a,o'75"The Commissioners approved the request by the Grant County
Tourism Commission for a budget extension for a reprint of the Grant
County DAYtour Guide.
The Commissioners approved the request by the Washington State
Cooperative Extension Office for out of state travel for Gary Pelter to attend
the International Symposium for the Edible Alliaceae Conference.
7 '7The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Sheri' L. Austin of
the Juvenile Probation Department.
4(,i(7 a The Commissioners approved the request by the Sheriff s Office to
purchase a Maratrac mobile radio for the Work Release Center from Law
and Justice Funds.
1,4.1�`79 The Commissioners approved the starting salary of Brian Adams of
the Juvenile Probation Department.
///,)n%,,The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Diana L. Wavra
of the Juvenile Probation Department to $4,850.92 per month.
p 4,,lng 1 The Commissioners received a Summons and Complaint from Patrick
Acres. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
1-'.),^9,The Commissioners received a letter of complaint from Craig S
Maxwell. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
"?of;A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -142 -CC giving notice
that the preliminary budget of Grant County for the fiscal year of 2001 will
be on file in the Auditors Office.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until November 14, 2000.

The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
/`," 1^ The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
WSDOE PLP Letter, Supplemental Agreement `8' SE, Franchise
Application, Wheelchair Access -Larson Subdivision, Draft Annual Road
Program/Budgets, Personnel.
'</.zviUThe Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund voucher
approval #10-1 through #10-196 in the total amount of $2,075,068.58.
I,4;),A�;"As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 11/13/2000 in
the total amount of $539,785.35.
A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -143 -CC lowering the
assessment rate for Hillcrest Lighting District for the year 2001 be passed.
The motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -144 -CC lowering the
assessment rate for Gateway Lighting District for the year 2001 be passed.
The motion carried.
�J S 9, The Commissioners received a letter from Richard Rumburg. The
matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
A -�� The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Gary Stone of the
Assessors Office to $2,554 per month effective November 1, 2000.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjourned until November 20, 2000.
