Week of October 9, 2000
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman Deborah Moore. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes from the
preceding session as written.
L' ih'� The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Kristy Olson of
the Planning Department to 90% of base pay.
q 0� 4- The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Edgar Harrell of
the Planning Department to 90% of base pay.
The Commissioners approved the budget extension request by
Superior Court.
q The Commissioners approved the budget extension request by the
Sheriff's Office.
,.I r jh ` 1 The Commissioners approved the Request for Transfer of Funds in the
Cooperative Extension Department in the amount of $1,300.
�'-/ 1 ',l Chairman Moore was authorized to sign the Hold Harmless
Agreement with the Washington National Guard.
<j1 1`91 The Commissioners signed the Request for Transfer of Funds in the
Prosecutors Office in the amount of $913.65.
1' `1 l,iThe Commissioners approved the request by the Grant County
Treasurer to increase the starting salary of Ken Holloway and Susan Oxley-
Ramaker to 90% of base salary.
Chairman Moore signed the notice of separation or work interruption
of Melissa J. Lucas of the Juvenile Department.
l'{ 'i7-1As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office 10/9/2000 in the total amount of
$511,959.86.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until October 10, 2000.
October 10, 2000
The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding `4'
NE/Moses Pointe, Moses Point -Water & Sewer, WSDOT Haul Road
Agreements, Bid Authorization-Patton/Loring Signalization.
111 The Commissioners signed the Authorization to Call for Bids on
Patton/Loring Traffic Signal. Bid opening to be October 31, 2000 at 10:00
a.m.
!,j I L) (,. The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher
approval in the amount of $1,245,839.98.
1 i i 1 Chairman Moore was authorized to sign the Notice of Separation of
Dan Pitman of the Grant County P.A.R.C.
1 1+j. A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by
Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2000 -124 -CC relating to the
establishment of a revolving fund for the Department of Community
Development to be called the Planning Department Change Fund be passed.
The motion carried.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjourned until October 16, 2000.
