COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS
Week of May 30, 2000
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman Deborah Moore. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
supplement Agreement -`5' NW, Contract Extension -Auction Services, Sage
Meadows, Phase I -Road Improvement, Revenue Sharing Agreement -
Wheeler Corridor, Dodson/I-90-Sight Obstruction, Misc.-Overen Rd.,
Livestock.
The Commissioners signed a Contract Extension with Harold Mathers
Inc. for Auction services.
; 141(pi 0 Chairman Moore was authorized to sign the Local Agency Agreement
Supplement on 5 NW Road Reconstruction.
)�E1'p1? The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher
Approval #5-1 through #54 in the total amount of $523,407.12.
The Commissioners signed an Agreement with North Central
Construction on 5 NW Road Project.
:,I f> /3 The Commissioners approved the request by Grant county PARC for
Youth Specialist Dan Pitman, Outreach Coordinator Sydney Platt for out of
State travel.
14 i 'I i L/ The Commissioners signed the Public Works Payroll Journal for the
month of May in the total amount of $286,549.86.
I`I It -i The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Jason Langbehn
to 90 percent of salary for Planners.
I l u- h- The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Dorothy Black of
the Planning Department to 100 percent of salary for Planning Secretary.
1 11 �0 I `j Chairman Moore was authorized to sign Form Amendment No. 1
between the North Central Washington Regional Support Network and
Grant County.
ll ISI �j As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 5/30/2000 in
the total amount of $451,893.95.
Chairman Moore was authorized to sign approval of the Liquor
License change of Patton Park Fuel and Grocery.
'11', 1- The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Deputy Dan
Couture of the Sheriff's Office to $3,335. Per month effective April 1, 2000.
The Commissioners approved out of state travel for Deb Shay to
attend training for the Spillman Computer system.
I..�.,� The Commissioners received a Summons and Petition for Review of
Land Use Decision by the Grant county Board of Adjustment from Randy
W. Knopp. The matter was referred to the Prosecuting Attorney for
handling.
'41The Commissioners signed a Proclamation that the month of June be
Hire a Veteran Month.
yIC•aU A motion was made by Commissioner Allison, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2000 -56 -CC setting a public
hearing for June 19, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. relating to the facts requiring an
appropriation and expenditure of funds for the Current Expense Fund #001,
Assessors Department #107 in the amount of $10,600 be passed. The
motion carried.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjourned until June 5, 2000.
