COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS
Week of January 2, 2001
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. with all of the Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the
Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
' The Commissioners approved the request by the Maintenance
Department for Larry Howall to receive benefits as soon as possible.
The Commissioners appointed Ralph Herth to a position on the Desert
Aire Airport District Commission.
q,4. 17 Chairman Allison was authorized to sign the Interlocal Agreement
with the City of Granb Coulee regarding the stabilization of a crumbling
hillside.
,y, z, t I t,' As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office 12/29/2000 in the total amount of
$62,613.11.
r > The Commissioners approved the request by Grant County Mental
Health to increase by the amount of $250.00 the Crisis Response Revolving
Fund.
"'The Commissioners held a Public Meeting regarding the Preliminary
Plat Application from D/J Land and Cattle Company for Sunrise Acres, a
twenty-two lot clustered subdivision on approximately 113 acres in the
Rural Residential -One Zone. A motion was made by Commissioner Snead,
seconded by Commissioner Moore to uphold the Planning Commission
recommendation for approval with findings and conditions as presented by
the Planning Department. The motion carried.
The Commissioners received a fully executed operational contract
between Grant County and Washington State Military Department for the
year 2 00 1.
/%.rz-the Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
General Road Study, 2001 Vehicle Purchases -Juvenile, State vs. Local, Fleet
addition, and Personnel.
Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher
Approval # 12-1 through # 12-2 in the total amount of $22,278.04.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until January 3, 2001.
January 3, 2001
The session was continued at 10:00 a.m, with all of the
Commissioners in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -1 -CC giving approval
for the Grant County Sheriff to be responsible for providing for the security
needs in all areas of Grant County operations be passed. The motion carried.
�i,x.za�l A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by
Commissioner Allison that Resolution Number 2001 -2 -CC in the matter of
approving a one year time extension for the complete filing of Phase 4 of
Crystal Springs, a preliminary plat in a portion of Section 1, Township 19
North, Range 28 East, W.M. be passed. The motion carried.

those vouchers included in the list filed in the Auditors Office 1/02/2001 in
the total amount of $366,681.80.
/ /-�").,G-The Commissioners gave Grant county Mosquito Control District 41
permission to operate in the airspace over Grant County during the 2001
year within the boundaries of the Grant County Mosquito Control District #I
for the purpose of mosquito abatement.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjourned until January 8, 2001.
