COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS
Week of July 9, 2001
The Grant County Commissioners session was called to order at 9:00
a.m. by Chairman LeRoy C. Allison. All of the Commissioners were in
attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners read and approved the minutes of the preceding
session as written.
T.) W�-,;LThe Commissioners approved the request by Carolyn J. Fair of the
Prosecuting Attorney's Office to take two days of leave without pay.
ryz,y� 3 As of this date the Board by a majority vote does approve for payment
those vouchers filed in the Auditors Office 7/09/2001 in the total amount of
$415,386.79.
1y14�--�The Commissioners approved the salary increase of Starr Berg of the
Clerks Office to 100% of Deputy Clerk I.

-Chain Allison was authorized to sign the notification to Peter G.
Gourley, ARNP, of Grant Mental Healthcare that he was granted Full
Professional Staff Privilege status.
A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -109 -CC regarding the
GWMA GIS Database funding be passed. The motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by
Commissioner Snead that Resolution Number 2001 -110 -CC regarding the
GWMA Water on Wheels Education Proposal be passed. The motion
carried.
�f h� A motion was made by Commissioner Moore, seconded by
Commissioner Snead the Resolution Number 2001 -111 -CC regarding the
2001 Cost Share BMP implementation be passed. The motion carried.
yA�,/,9The Commissioners approved the starting salary of George "Jake"
Geisinger of the Grant County Fairgrounds at $2,443 per month.
/-54,4q/) The Commissioners met in executive session regarding potential
litigation.
//11117/ The Commissioners received a Summons and land use petition from
Richard Larson and Barbara Larson. The matter was referred to the
Prosecuting Attorney for handling.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was continued until July 10, 2001.
July 10, 2001
The session was continued at 9:00 a.m. with all of the Commissioners
in attendance with the Clerk of the Board.
The Commissioners met with the Public Works Director regarding
Authorization for Construction, Local Agency Agreement Supplement #2-
12 -NE, Local Agency Agreement Supplement #1 -Bridge #158 -12 -NE, Local
Agency Agreement Supplement 91 -Bridge 4390/3 -NW, Reimbursable
Work -Town of Electric City, Grant County Port District #6, Resolution to
set Hearing -Six Year Transportation Improvement Program, RFQ-
Architectural Services -Public Works Shop in Royal City, Impact &
Mitigation Fee Agreement -Mattson, Staffing.
A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by
Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -112 -CC, Notice of
Hearing in the matter of adopting a comprehensive six-year transportation
improvement program for the years 2002-2007 be passed. The motion
carried. The Hearing will be held on July 24, 2001 at 11:15 a.m.
The Commissioners denied the Request to the County Road
Department for reimbursable work for the Town of Electric City.
i,11z �1y The Commissioners signed the Request for Consultant Services for a
Public Works Shop in the Royal City area.
The Commissioners signed approval of the Request to the County
Road Department for reimbursable work for Port District #6.
Chairman Allison signed the NCW Regional Support Network salary
increase for Debra J. Murray to $47,682.55 per year.
/7 The Commissioners received notification from Jennifer Lane,
Administrator of Grant County PARC of her work schedule during the
month of July.
/5/,O7/ The Commissioners signed the Public Works Claims Fund Voucher
Approval 46-1 through 46-214 in the total amount of $2,522,803.43.
/%1 ?S77 A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by
Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -113 -CC designating Jan
Burg, M.A. as a County Designated Mental Health Professional be passed.
The motion carried.
A motion was made by Commissioner Snead, seconded by
Commissioner Moore that Resolution Number 2001 -114 -CC stating that
Charles Schill, MSW is no longer designated to provide the services of a
County Designated Mental Health Professional be passed. The motion
carried.
The Commissioners met in executive session to discuss possible
litigation.
As there was no further business to come before the Board the session
was adjourned until July 16, 2001.
